The building can accommodate music and theatrical performances such as concerts, oratoria, operas, ballet as well as conventions, exhibitions and other events. It includes a large concert and multi-purpose hall for 1,475 spectators, as well as all necessary auxiliary areas both for the audience and the performers. It also includes spaces for the technical support services. The spaces allotted to the various functions cover an orthogonal building of dimensions 180m to 45m in nine levels. The bearing structure is from reinforced concrete, whereas the roof of the Main Hall consists of metal trusses.
